Online banking

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to register online to use online banking with Santander,I look after all the banking for myself and o/h and tried to get online banking set up for him by phone but they ask him questions to which he as no idea what the answer is and they won't let me help him by telling him the answers.We are both in our middle seventies and would appreciate you help in this.

I looked at the online application form and it asks for the card number but he as not been issued with a card to have a number,how do we get around this.

You could open their eSaver account online. You don't have to speak to anyone to do this.

I opened one of these accounts, purely to be able to view the ISA I have with them. And to have online access.

I only put £1 in it.

You may have to send them a copy of an official document for ID purposes.

Once they accept that, they will send you two letters containing the login details.

That is all my o/h as got in Santander a fixed rate I.S.A. I set them both up together at the same time and requested that we get the paper work to be able to view the transactions on line,I received mine to do this and set mine up but heard nothing about doing this for my other o/h.

You might be better off going to your local branch and asking them if they can help as they should be able to pull up all the details on the computer.
