Do you mean that you're saying it could be £135k but you're not 100% right... Yes, you're right you're not sitting on the fence on that one. Just hedging your bets.Graham_Devon wrote: »Tricky one for you this one, isn't it.
You don't want to disagree with me on the gut feeling as it could be right. But then you don't want to agree, as it could be wrong. Sit on the fence, and you'll always have the fallback that you said nothing at all.
But you need to find issue somewhere. So I guess the well known forum no no of starting a new thread to start a new discussion on a new prediction is the one you're left homing in on...
Quite the contrary to your complaint, I'd like to see you make your own, and put in writing your beliefs.
You obviously didn't read or even understand my thread except find issue in something just to attract attention.
As you're hedging your bets I'll say it won't reach £145k as I'm not 100% convinced, whose ever 100% convinced.0 -

Sorry.... What?0 -
Exactly, it's always a tricky one for you when you have to think a little deeply about something.Graham_Devon wrote: »Sorry.... What?0 -
I am 100% convinced that house prices will be higher in nominal terms in 3 years time than they are now. The reason I know this will happen is that is about when I expect I will want to buy one, so prices will increase just to annoy me.0

No, I'm not sure what your problem is. It seems to have switched from the fact i started a new thread, to me stating I wasn't 100% convinced.
Anyone who suggests they are 100% convinced on financials in todays climates would be a fool. There are too many unknowns around the corner, any of which could play out and drastically change the economic landscape.
To be 100% convinced, with so many unknowns that could unwind in the near future would be foolish.
If you have a particular issue, I'd rather you just stated what it was. If you do, i'll answer, but if it's just riddles, I'll ignore it from here on in.0 -
Don't be surprised they could be lower than now but they could also be quite easily higher than now. Elections are usually a good indicator of rising house prices.chewmylegoff wrote: »I am 100% convinced that house prices will be higher in nominal terms in 3 years time than they are now. I have a problem with neither. Your paranoia and your continuing need for positive reinforcement is getting to you again.Graham_Devon wrote: »No, I'm not sure what your problem is. It seems to have switched from the fact i started a new thread, to me stating I wasn't 100% convinced.
That last post was a lovely well written inaccurate post though.0 -

Be careful there. I am no longer as clued up on confectionery as I was, but aren't orange KitKats a limited edition ? Even if they are not, it sounds like orange KitKats might not be available in three years time. I'd have a second choice just in case. Maybe a Mars Bar or a Snickers. I'd also ask Graham is he wants a Twix, I doubt he'd refuse, but maybe he'd prefer a Lion Bar or a Double Decker. :money:30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

The internet isn't the best place for irony but I know you spotted it and just wanted to get an arrogance and delusion accusation in. Here's what I said...I can confidently say I'm 100% 50:50 that I might possibly, give or take, be right.
Doesn't seem more than a couple of weeks since you threw in the towel on significant falls in prices. What happened?0 -
Here's my guess.....
Don't think we'll get that low Graham.
Inflation will see to that.
Significant escape of inflation in another 2 or 3 years. All that QE will eventually make it's way into the system.
So higher nominally than now.0
