Lloyds Bacs help please
Good evening,
Lloyds have confirmed to be me today that they have issued a bacs payment into my lloyds current account today.
Can anyone tell me when this will show in my account? I know they give the standard "5 working day" response but does anyone have anymore details?
Thanks in advance

Unlikely - as BACS doesn't exist for personal accounts any more. If you mean BACS Direct Credit ...... then it's 3 working days from initiation.
But why would Lloyds use BACS Direct Credit into one of their own accounts? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Thanks for the reply,
I am not sure to be honest, i won a PPI claim when i chased the payment today they confirmed the payment had been made, definately said bacs though so really not sure??0 -
In which case it must be BACS Direct Credit. As earlier - takes 3 days from initiation. If it's a PPI claim presumably they're making payments in blocks ...... and the above method is used for bulk payments. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
