car insurance - regular use of another car.

Looking at car insurance quotes they ask this question, 'do you have regular use of another car?' Im looking to get my car insured, and i do have another car which is modified which i like to drive at weekends. what do they mean by this term?

Regular use of another car usually means one not owned by you, such as a company car, or wifes car. Is there another question do you own another car? If there was I'd say yes to that, and no to the first question. If do you have use of another car is the only question, I'd say yes to that though.

There isn't a question asking do you own another car, just do you have regular use of another car and on the drop down the answers to choose are,
-company car
-van
-named driver
-use other car
-no access
cant really say no access because i do own another car.

I'd select use other car. It's the only true one. Insurers are obliged to ask the correct questions, and use the answers given. If they don't ask, it's their omission. But it seems a reasonably worded questions, and you do have an other car.

Its not hard to work out. Do you have regular use of another car? The answer is yes. This does not alter the cost of a quote.
