B&B In Wembley 9th June

Hi there,

My hubby and I and our four kids are coming to London for the capital radio summertime ball on the 9th June and are looking for a "cheap" B&B ideally within walking distance of the stadium and with car parking. We are on a quite tight budget.

Any ideas you wonderful people may have will be greatfully accepted.

Thank you :)

I saw this yesterday and hoped someone would come up with a helpful suggestion because I was struggling - even a room for 2 within walking distance of Wembley for a 1 night stay (which is also a Saturday with an event on) and parking wouldn't come into play on a 'tight budget' so the thought of a room for 6 (or more likely 2 rooms) is likely to be significant.

Add to this the 'availability' issue given this is a family event and I honestly think you'll be lucky.

May be worth looking a little further out and hopping on the tube to Wembley ?

Croxley Green Premier Inn is about 10-15 minutes walk from the tube station (or £1 to park on a Saturday in the station car park) and the hotel often has £29 rooms. The tube goes to Wembley Park direct and takes about 20-25 minutes. Children aged ten and under travel free on the tube.

You could also look at the Travelodge in Uxbridge as trains go direct from there to Wembley Park and take about 25 minutes.

You also have an Old English Inn in Rickmansworth opposite the train station and this would take about 25 minutes of a direct tube journey to Wembley Park.
