£190 for a first service/inspection! That's way over the top for starters.
I'd be 'phoning to inquire the cost of a first service as a random customer to see what they come up with too.

I had problems with the VW service plans too. The first thing to do is to contact VW Customer Care on 0800 0833 92 and explain the situation and say that you expect as response within 24 hours. They should also give you a reference number and when you do speak to the dealer principal, tell them that you have referred the case to VW Customer Care.

I have done that, the price for a service is £197.98
