new wood shed question

I'm thinking of building a new wooden shed in the garden.Just a quick question about woodworm. If the timers are treated in creosote substitute, would it be safe from woodworm or would it still make a tasty lunch for them?

My wood shed (where I store firewood) is treated with creosote substitute and there is no sign of woodworm at all. I re-did it on Sunday.

I'm sure that creosote substitute is just brown diesel.

My wood shed, thats has been standing ~10+years, has been treated with nothing and has no signs of woodworm.

Woodworm is often already in the timber before you've purchased it. If you get it it was included in the price.
