Mini break in London

Hey all,
Im looking at finding a cheap place to stay for me and the hubby in london victoria area maybe, does anyone have any good recommendations? deals, codes..? thanks in advance :-D xxx

    You could try the budget brand hotels such as Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn for your dates (if going for 2 nights use the 2for 1 night HI link). I would avoid going until after the Olympics as a lot of accomodation is booked up or expensive.

    The Holiday Inn Express/Holiday Inn/Crowne Plaza 2-4-1 link susancs mentions can work out seriously good value, even in london. Here's the link (thanks to flyertalk for the updated link - the one in the original thread here doesn't work any more):

    Holiday inn expresses are the most basic of the three, just 2*s - but some are quite modern, and everyone gets a free breakfast. Holiday inns are 3* standard, whilst Crowne Plaza's are 4*.

    To give you an idea, I picked a weekend in June, and it looked like the holiday inn express in hammersmith was available for about £120 for 2 nights, including breakfast.
