Our schools don't offer any incentive for good attendance, although I can see why it could be useful to encourage some who might otherwise have days off all the time to attend regularly.
My son has always had good attendance figures until this past year where he has had hospital and orthodontist appointments. He will probably fall below 95% for this year but I would rather he had his medical problems and teeth fixed, and so would he.
