I didn't find their service very helpful.
For example we wanted tax statements at the end of the tax year.
I never got anything at all from them by post.

However I'm sure they are perfectly fine if you don't ever need any service for example statement for benefits purposes.
They do not produce statements AT ALL.
I think the benefits people are getting more up to date on this, but initially they wanted paper statements an ICICI won't do anything at all by post.

From what I remember other have poor service too, but if you never need to phone them then it's not necessarily an issue,

I have been using their 1yr bonds for years as back it in the day they had one of the best rates, iv never had any problem with them e.g. account set up/password resets/tax forms etc which are all published online, so not sure why the poster above had problems with this as they are produced automatically

    Would definately recommend them
  • I don't currently have any accounts with ICICI but have had several over the years and had no problems with service - but you do need to be happy to rely on internet banking. They are quite proactive when your fixed term is drawing to a close and will try to get you to 'sign up' to a roll-over on the phone - make sure you research the options.

Only caveat i have is that the accounts are (or at least used to be) treated as 'dormant' if you don't log in for 6 months ... quite why anyone would log into a one year fixed term account every 6 months i haven't really worked out!

They used to have a very flaky website, but it has improved somewhat. Personally I'd avoid them, Tesco would be a much better bet, and pays a better rate.

    Likewise.

Never had any problems with them but rates are no longer competitive.
