How to connect Nintendo Wii to Samsung LED TV?

I'm missing my I-Player on the TV since we bought a new LE flatscreen model (Samsung UE32D4003B 32" HD ready TV) and it only has one SCART socket. We need this one for the Sky+ box. There don't seem to be any other sockets which the nintendo Wii (which we use to get i-player) could plug into.

I thought this Wii component cable might solve the problem -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000NUR582/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A12LLKL8UTC1PK

but the video on one of the reviews for this shows the back of a TV, and our TV does not have all those red green and blue sockets in the back. Just some small square ones, which i cannot work out from the manual what they are supposed to be for.

I was wondering if a SCART switcher might be the answer - so we can plug both Sky + box and Wii in to the one scart, and select which one to switch to
eg

or
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0007XQA8G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=AYWFDAJAXMMQE

but they (and all similar kit) have such mixed reviews - ranging from wonderful to pile of junk - that I'm worried.

Any help gratefully received :)

    Sky+ doesn't have hdmi?
Either upgrade to SkyHD which does have hdmi, or use a scart switcher with a Wii scart cable

Call Sky and tell them you just got a new HD TV and you'd really like an HD box (decline the HD package which costs £10 extra per month and decline an engineer visit as you only need to swap over 3 cables plus the power) You should get this no problems if you've been with them long enough.

Then connect Sky HD box uisng HDMI and the Wii using SCART.

Thanks all 3! - I'll go for the cheap switcher I think.

Go for one that has RGB if you can - better picture from your sky box

For our wii we use the original av to scart convertor and have it plugged into a scart block.

Did your Samsung TV come with a selection of cable converters? Mine did.
These convert the stand Phono to their slim designs. This will let you use the component cable from the Wii.
    Good luck

OK - Just looked up the specs for this TV and it doesnt have component input etc - looks like you will need to change as much to HDMI as you can then use scart for Wii. So all the previous posts give good advise and a variety of options.

I know I shouldn't say it - But when buying any AV kit you really should consider what you want to do with it and then that it has all teh required inputs. Hindsight is great isnt it!!
