Any Way To...

Is there any way to find out if a ebay member has more than
one ebay i.d.

Are ebay members employed as such to issue threats with regards
to VERO? I don't think they are. I believe another seller is trying to bully me
into removing one of my items of which there are others still available.

Am I correct in thinking that if you have broken the VERO rules that
your item is simply removed by ebay and you are then given a warning/explanation,
as opposed to being asked to remove the offending item by an ebay member first with a threat
of legal action if said item isn't removed?

Awaiting your responses

Yes, VEROs have the power to have your item removed.

With the limited info in your post, you could be looking at a chancer... or on the other hand, a polite VERO who's giving you a chance to comply before pwning your listings.

Has this seller got a ME page? If you look on the list of VEROs, is he on it, or is someone else?

Where would I find a list of Vero's members?

The ones with Me pages are shown here.

The member doesn't have a 'me' page, so I am guessing he is lying about
being a VERO member unless he has another account. I don't see his
ebay i.d. in the vero section in which my item is listed.

What would you do in this scenario?

Remove your listing while others continue selling?
Report all the other listings similar to yours?
    Leave your listing up?

Not all VEROs have me pages.

    Possibilities:

    1. He's bluffing
    2. He's not bluffing

Based on what you're selling (disregard what everyone else is selling - remember, he could be hassling thrm as well) you need to make an educated guess whether you could potentially be infringing that company's rules on distribution.

Do you know of any way to find out if a ebay member has more than one account registered. I think more than anything this guy is a competitor trying to nudge me out.

Although I will probably remove my listing, and then go on a vero reporting rampage :-) because I am in that kind of mood. I don't sell hundreds of this item, in fact I am lucky if I sell half a dozen a month and the item in question isn't an exact copy.
