Multi car insurance?
valeejay
I have a 2 yr old Corsa 1.2 and have just purchased a 12 yr old Suzuki Jimny - useful as a runabout for where we live! I am looking for multi-car insurance but one which will allow me to put my 26 year old son on the Jimny for about 1 month per year when he is home from abroad. I want to do it the cheapest way possible but many insurance companies won't do this for me - any idea's? I have tried Admiral (won't put my son on) and Be Wiser Inusurance - the quotes were very high. Any idea's or any way round this? Urgent as son needs to use car now!
Thanks

Hi, if your son is genuinely only going to be driving it for one month you might findit cheaper to cover him with short term insurance when he actualy needs it..Otherwise they may think you are fronting for your son.0

As above they think, New car which is not your normal vehicle type and adding a younger driver = FRONTING alert...
I bet the alarms rang as soon as you mentioned adding another driver.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
What is very high? I would expect a couple of thousand to be about what's on offer.0
