BEKO freezer problem

My daughter has a Beko ZA630 undercounter freezer. It is less than 2 years old. She was decorating at the weekend and moved the freezer less than 12 inches to paint behind it. I noticed yesterday morning that the green button was not lit. The amber fast freeze light comes on when button is pushed and the freezer thermometer she has, shows the temp to be constant. No red light as yet. The green light came on briefly last night when she took something out of the freezer but is not on again today. Is the freezer broken / is it safe to eat the frozen food?
I spoke to a local freezer engineer (as it is out of warranty) and he said he thought it wouldn't be worth the repair- does anyone have any thoughts on any of this?
many thanks

If it's not gaining temp, and she can hear it running, then it must just be the bulb or the bulb circuit.
Did she not unplug it before moving it?
Yes, of course it's safe to eat the food if it's still frozen! No free lunch, and no free laptop

No she didn't unplug it- just dragged it away from the wall, sigh, at first I wondered if she had pulled the plug out a bit, but it is securely in the socket.
Will ask about the "noise", and the food - is just me being a paranoid mum, I had salmonella poisoning once and wouldn't wish it on anyone!
Thanks for the advice.0 -
The green light on my freezer hasn't worked for years, and the food still freezes fine...No free lunch, and no free laptop
