Best IFA's in the South East?

Hi All
Can anyone recommend a really good IFA in the South East? I live in Brighton and have got through a few in the past few years, the last one costing me £s of loss by transferring over my well performing funds into a company reaping lower rewards for my money all because of him reading my intentions wrongly.
I am selling a house and have a bracket of 2k to invest so I want one who can give me feedback, read whether I want low risk or a higher risk correctly and invest my monies into a top account which will perform well!
