Looking for Insurance on imported van

Hi,
We are having difficulty getting a sensible insurance quote for an imported Izusu pick up. Because it was imported from Cyprus the exact spec does not seem to be listed on many of the insurance company web sites. The brokers we have spoken to have either said they can not find cover or seem too expensive.
Can any one recommend a company that we could try?
