Do you find a lot of extra comps from compers news cathelen? (not that I have enough time to keep up with the comps on here)

I subscribe to and enjoy Compers News. I enjoy reading the various columns and the magazine is very good, for me, to keep up with various on-pack promotions that I don't normally get to see (as I live in a small village). The mag also has its own competition puzzles for subscribers only.
Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

An eye for an eye only leads to more blindness.

Hi minnie123, i would not say i find lots extra comps,it's the same as any hobby it's good to look at other mags and comping sites, sometimes it gives you a different slat on comping .

I've recently subscribed to Compers News and I think it's good if you like to enter comps by post (my preferred method of entry as I've never won anything from online comps) because it has competitions from other magazines.

I bet you were furious with the recent increase in the price of stamps! Is it a monthly magazine?
    Won since 12/12/13: :(

It is a monthly magazine, I've subscribed for 6 months although I've only had one issue so far, the next one should arrive next week.

Very cross about the increase in stamps, I like to post my Take a Break, That's Life! etc entries but am now having to do them online and am only sending entries by post when there is no other alternative available.

There are a lot of different comping magazines out there - most offer a free trial or free issue.

I won't give links but the following are the ones i'm aware of:

    competition grapevine
simply prizes (yes - I do work for their company)
    compers news

I'd suggest you maybe just give a free trial issue a go and see how you get on.
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!
