Keeping CC limit on cleared card

Hi all, now i have paid off my MBNA CC id like some advice on how to keep the limit (£6.1K)
I am not intending to use any of my credit cards anymore apart from a few small transactions to keep them running and to show on my credit file.
I would however quite like to keep this cards credit limit in case of a real emergency and im concerned that if the realise they are making no money from me that they will start lowering the limit.
I am buying tomorrow a laptop on this cc (£350) and although i have the cash to pay it off when i get my statement im wondering if i should leave a couple of hundred quid rolling over so i am paying some interest to them would this make them more likely to keep the account as it is, i am happy with the fact that i would be wasting around £35 a year in interest but feel this is acceptable if it would keep the account there in case of real need.

they make money on every transaction from the retailer
so use your cards regularly for things you anyway buy but pay in full every monthEU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%
some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%
EU Clinical Trials Directive stops medical advances0 -
I'd just put it on the CC and pay it off in full - paying no interest.
The CC provider makes money from you using the CC through the merchant, so there's no need to pay interest to keep them happy
Additionally buying the laptop on your CC will ensure it's covered under Section 75 protection.
I have card with a similar limit (£5,750) and I've done this for quite a while now with no problem.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
