I had to hold wool for my Nana when she unpicked hand-knitted stuff bought at the jumble. She washed it & then it got knitted into cardi's or jumpers. Then it got unpicked again & knitted into tank tops when i grew :rotfl:
So what evils did your mother sew for you?
That takes me back, I use to do that with my nan too. My mum knitted me some mittens and attached them to string through my coat. Oh the shame of it!
I went to a drama club as a young kid and my mum made me a fantastic costume for an appearance as a bongo tree in 'The owl and the !!!!!cat'. Shock horror on my mums part when she was sat in the audience, up the curtain goes and I am stood on the stage wearing the costume upside down. They had thought the beautiful leaves she had made so carefully were roots.Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them ~ Albert Einstein0 -
