What did your mother make for you?

That takes me back, I use to do that with my nan too. My mum knitted me some mittens and attached them to string through my coat. Oh the shame of it!

I went to a drama club as a young kid and my mum made me a fantastic costume for an appearance as a bongo tree in 'The owl and the !!!!!cat'. Shock horror on my mums part when she was sat in the audience, up the curtain goes and I am stood on the stage wearing the costume upside down. They had thought the beautiful leaves she had made so carefully were roots.
