    Hi,

    Me again...
Well im starting to see some benefits so being frugel again.
However I've had 2 shopping trips to NL and so I'm currently living of my overtime.

Had a bit of a panic yesterday as my car tyre popped on the way to work and it wasn't repairable. I had to get a new one. However my boss sorted it for me as he knows my financial situation.

My credit card is currently £600 and I'm hoping to see it drop further soon. I need to be out of debt. I think its what makes my depression worse and why some days I think that I dont want to live. Luckily my friend at work knows and understands me and makes me see that its not worth killing myself.

My parents are the only reason I keep going on a day to day basis and if I didn't have them, I wouldn't know what to do.

Anyways I count down the days until I can buy a cup of coffee without feeling guilty.

    x

  • Hi,

Me again - Been a while since I was last here.
Well Just 1 big thing to say - My CREDIT CARD IS GONE!!!!!!!!!
    Its all paid off!
I just wanna shout from the rooftops!
I wont see the benefit till payday as I have paid the last installment from this months wages.
I have a big list of urgent things that need to be purchased once im sorted.
    They are:
2 x new tyres as mine are getting bald - not quite gone yet but getting there
    1 x dentist appointment - going to need a filling I reckon
    1 x Optitions - I kept putting it off
1 x set of flat shoes for work - mine are falling apart.

Once these are sorted - my money is my own! Im looking forward to 2014!

The car accident is steadily making its way through court but if all goes in my favour - I will get £300 back!

My car insurance is due, but managed to get it so Ill pay £35 per month for 10 months! Dead easy!

Gotta go, really busy x x

  • Hi.

    Me again.
    I have a credit card again :(
Its only £350 but it is car insurance and those tyres that were needed.
I still haven't been to the dentist but I managed to get in to the optitions. :)
I am determined to clear it as fast as I can in the New Year.
    Oh well onwards and upwards!

Update - mummy helped out and cleared the credit card - under the condition that if I win my court case - I will pay her back then, If I don't, then she will write it off.

I love my mummy - Now time to start saving :)

HaHa - funny title - Intend to be sorted by September - more like over 2 years later I'm finally there!

I am proud to say that I paid off my credit card completely on 30th April 2014 and I'm making head roads in to putting savings away.
I traded my car in for another one which reduced my payments, cut out road tax and is currently saving me half price on my petrol payments! I'm kinda doing alright. Maybe I need to change this diary now to keep me on the straight and narrow.

One major change that has helped me is to start a wish list. Everytime I want to rush out and buy something, I take a moment and write it on my wish list. I then look at it a couple of days later and usually find the initial rush to have the item has gone and i'm not so deperate to own it. It then stays on the list until a birthday/Christmas comes up and so I have ideas for what people can get me. Seems to be working quite well and have over £200 saved up which would have otherwise been frittered away, had I not started this!

Anyways, off to find out how to make more money :) x

  • Hi all.

    Well 6 months later.....
I have a credit card again :( Another Interest Free one.
This one has a better reason for being there. I have paid for a course from home to retrain to do AAT which is accounting. The course was considerably cheaper doing it from home than going to college. I can also do it at my own pace.

The £700 is the initial course fees - would have cost me in excess of £1500 by going to college, but I still have to add to this - exam fees and AAT membership (which is expensive in the first year) but i see it as an investment to my future.

I am going to start a new diary detailing the payments off this card and to try to get Level 2 paid quickly and get some money towards level 3!
