Ppi help

I am reclaiming PPI from loans.co.uk through Pinto Potts solicitors. loans.co.uk told me that I was mis-sold the PPI and that they just need to contact kensington mortgage company who the loans with to calculate the interest on the PPI payment, that was on the 12th of December over 20 weeks ago. Now I ve been told that Cardiff Pinnacle are calculating the information they require.Pinto Potts have said that there is nothing they can do speed it up, and are unable to contact Cardiff Pinnacle directly as there authority to act on the matter does not extend to their involvement. Help! is there anything I can do to speed things up ?
I would appreciate any ideas!

Hi and welcome

That is a very long time.
I have not dealt with my reclaims through using companies/solicitors, and always dealt with them myself, because of knowing where I am.

You could try asking your local MP (if you voted just recently) they should be only too happy and willing to help you back by writing to the business for you, it may help give them a quicker push.

And another suggestion, would be to contact the Claims Regulation (MOJ) and explain your situation with them, they may look into this for you, as these are the regulators to claims companies etc.
