Quick question I hope someone can clarify. If I open an 'Easy Access Savings with Bonus' account with Nationwide which pays 3.17% which includes 1.62% bonus.
What happens if I close this account in 6 months (I may purchase a property)?
Do I lose all bonus interest i.e. i get 3.17% - 1.62% = 1.55% * 6 months
OR
Do Is till get the bonus i.e. 3.17% * 6 months

The bonus remains active until the term expires. I.e if the bonus is valid for 12 months it will continue until 12 months after the account was opened regardless of whether you withdraw any money

So, in simple terms, Yes you keep your bonus interest
