I've got a crap job, i've got to try and do some kind of temp repair on a cellar wall which is obviously suffering from some damp issues. plaster is lumpy, and skirting tired.... its just a patch up job so any advice is welcome.
I want to rip the lot off, sort the damp and reboard and plaster. but thats not on the cards. I hate temporary pretty up jobs...
to make it worse its in the middle of london and we have 2 days to do the job. We are going down to replace some lights and this is an 'add on' job.

you could use this http://www.decoratingwarehouse.co.uk/buy/paints--coatings/specialist-coatings/johnstones-damp-proof-paint/104
obviously the damp needs to be sorted out and this can only be seen as a temp / patch up job, you will need good ventilation or breathing masks0 -
Sounds like a great idea. that'll do nicely, got to be better than just piling on more paint to try and cover it up. Cheers mate. I'll get some of that ordered in the morning. Ill chuck some charcoal filter masks in my bag now.0
