Morning all from a very wet and dull Edinburgh! I thought summer was supposed to be around the corner too..........
Made a £1.12 payment to Nationwide overdraft this morning - just the odds from bank account. Every little helps I suppose. Although, its a major plus point that I'm actually thinking about it!
Went for a very brisk walk last night and the night before, have kept control of my eating so hopefully there might be a result when I step on the scales on saturday morning if I can keep up the good work for the rest of the week.
Have a good day everyone

Good progress, Sunshinesquirrel, sounds as though you are doing well. I lost 1/2 lb at SW tonight, not great but at least it was a loss. Another 1/2lb to go for my half stone award...0

May I join?
1)I'd like to lose two stones...obviously! Currently 10st10 after MrB's previous challenge and need to be 9st4 (8st 10 would be nice but not really achievable!!).
2)I'd like to continue knocking down the debt. This will be difficult as I have an extension to build.. Can I do it without borrowing any more? I intend to.
3)I'm also considering joining an exercise class (GASP)
4)I would like to do a good half hour walk each and every day.
Okay, no procrastinating...I'll start tomo :P
Thank you Mr B for a new challenge and therefore a shiny new sig!!¬DEBT LBM-3.10.2011Total debt-6800  09.09.13-zero

Hi Shower-of-Roses and welcome! Well done on losing weight on the last challenge, I only managed to put on weight and then get back down to my starting weight!!0

Hello Lucky  It's not easy is it? I lost a stone at end of last year, and since then keep losing and gaining same 7lbs. And now we're in MAY.... I keep getting the odd dizzy spell and fear it's my blood pressure so I really need to get my weight down to bottom of acceptable and not the top. I feel I'm stuck in a rut, getting lazier by the day and feeling so down I'm stuffing anything in my mouth, even when I don't want it. Today I woke up really motivated and started with a fruit tea. Thank you Mr B! I intend to go for the walk today and maybe swim; but that involves courage
Trying to find things that divert my attention from wallowing and which don't involve shopping and eating is difficult.

Hi Shower Of Roses, well done on your good start to the day :T, the weather has been lovely for a walk- for a change!
I know exactly what you mean about losing weight being so difficult... I managed to lose 3 1/2 stone a few years ago, and then went and put 2 stone of it back on!
I'm going to Slimming World and have so far lost 6 1/2 lbs so at least it's going in the right direction...0 -
Can I join please? Thanks Mr B for once again starting a new challange for us. :T I know I personally managed to save money on your last challange that I wouldn't have managed to do without the motivation of everyone (although can't say the same about the weight loss, or lack of it lol!)
I did an indepth calculation of my finances this week and was shocked to find that although I have reduced my overall debt shown on my signature by about £10,000, my credit card and overdraft balances have actually increased. I was shocked and I think I haven't made as good progress as I thought I had. So until I rectify this, and my CC and OD balances are lower than on my sig, I will not update my signature.
So my goals are;
1/. To get rid of my credit card with the highest interest. The balance was £850 but I have already got id down by £216, so need to pay off £634 to get shut of it for good.
2/. I have lost 15.5lb to date but would like to loss at least another 28lb.
3/. 3 sessions at the gym a week and at least 2 sessions of something cardiovascular workout a week.DFW Nerd 1394.
