Apparently Hudson Energy UK part of the group hold a UK Electricity Licence.Hence the suggestion in some places it might be a one trick pony to start.:D

A search shows that there are many complaints against Just Energy in the US  another thread has already been deleted.
Do you have the source to back up that quote?

Momentis UK is the marketing wing of North American company Just Energy. They will make their official launch in September 2012.

It is FREE during pre-launch, this is giving prospects the opportunity to build their teams, basically a try before you buy. There will be a joining on fee and there is a monthly back office fee, but then there is always a back office fee if you run a business online whether you are part of an MLM or have an independent site. The UK fees have not been set, this will probably be rolled out over the next few weeks.

It's easy to understand why Utility Warehous distributors are getting twitchy! But then competition is good, especially for the customer!:T

As a Senior Director of this Outfit you should declare an interest.

As you point out if you want to start trading as a rep you will have to pay a start up fee, monthly fees, and possibly an annual fee.Nothing FREE about this business unlike some other opportunities which are truly free to join.

I suspect some of the products will not be well recieved. See:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3997531

Your recall that potential reps of this network marketing business were claiming it was free to join. Turns out that it will actually be a £159  to start your business in the UK, and the launch has been delayed yet again to late August 2012.

Gas and Electric will not be available at the start date as the company will not have have been able to train the reps in time properly as required by OFGEM in the UK.

Their reps in waiting at this stage appear to be poorly trained and lacking in a knowledge of the products they are going to promote in the initial stages.

EG: They claim that M-Digital ( Their Phone Service) will enable you to replace your existing Home Phone Service . Wrong their service is Voip Service working over your broadband. Unless you have Virgin Broadband only or wireless broadband your need a landline to carry your broadband.

On top of the £159 starting fee one of their guys has just told me their will be a stonking back office monthly service fee of approximately £16 a month.( £192 a year !!!)
  • Just had a e-mail saying they have launched yesterday. Would i like to join and build a team its only just over £198 including vat.

Plus there is a monthly fee but its not conditional to sign for that package. Expect a fair bit of spam on this outfit.

"Join the team, join the team"
"But what are the products and services, how do they work, and are they good for consumers?"
"Join the team, join the team, become a 'Senior Director' without selling a single product, join the team!!"
"But what are the products and services, and how do they work?"
"Who cares, we have a big team and give ourselves impressive titles, but without ever having sold a single thing! Join the team!"

    Right.

And just to give some gravitas to my earlier comment, their website has 11 pages of information about the opportunity and compensation plan together with a single page about their "products". One of which is reviewed in the following link:

    Sounds great.
