BMI Baby Free Flight Offer

Hiya,

I was wondering if anyone has applied for a BMI Baby Credit Card for the free flight offer.

I am hoping for both me and my partner to apply for one and get two free flights. However, after reading the t & c's on the website I was wondering if:

1) The flights you can book are really restricted as on the website it says flights are 'subject to availability',with this being a incentive to open a credit card do they only allow you to book on the flights no one else wants?

2) Although it says you can book a return flight on any BMI Route, do they restrict the flights you can book due to availability.

3) If two people apply for the credit card can two vouchers be used at the same time?

Thanks in adavance for your help!

I'm doing the same thing... Typically, these offers are restricted so you will have to book very, very, early to get peak travel dates to popular destinations. The number of seats available per flight for these offers is strictly limited.
It's not really free as they charge taxes, etc.
While there are probably no issues it would be best to apply for these cards a week or so apart (1 for you and 1 for the partner).
As for using the vouchers to book 2 seats, as far as i'm aware they would have to be booked as 2 seperate bookings (a minute or so apart).
  • Nothin is ever easy when it's free is it lol!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just to reitterate - you need to pay fees and taxes on these "free" flights so you do not save very much plus I've found availability is quite restricted.

If 2 people apply you do get two lots of 20000 points and then bookings are done using each persons account

The only advantage with the BMI card is that if you book BMI flights using it they waive the £4.95 card booking fee
    That's Numberwang!

Actually morganb is referring to the BMI credit card not the BMI Baby card. The BMI offer is points based (or miles based if you like) while the BMI baby one isnt.
