Not sure what to suggest, my listings are coming up at 5p..maybe double check you actually have the 'free postage' box ticked if you are using the new selling format?

In the announcement of the promotion it does say that the old form will not show the discounted price. You will however get the 5p rate.

I'm using turbo lister and still get the full fee showing. I'm not sure what folks mean by the old form of new sell your item form, but I think my turbo lister is up to date. Please does anyone else know if turbo lister would show the 5p fee? As far as I can tell I have followed the instructions regarding the free postage options and should qualify for the 5p listing. Thanks, NCW

You probably have the same problem especially if you are adapting old auctions. Basically everything listed today should have a 5p listing fee if you have an option for free postage. You can test by listing an item and then going into Seller Account in My Ebay and it should show the cost as Promotional in red.

Thanks littlegem - just 5p showing on my account.

  • I listed loads of stuff using Turbo Lister (including a few empty "test auctions" to fill in the details and move to the correct category later), and it showed as the full fees but my Seller Account shows the discount for most of my items
But... there's one item which, for some reason, listed as postage unspecified when I put 0.00 for 2nd class p&p. The trouble with not having the promotional price displayed when submitting the listing is that errors like that can go unnoticed until it's too late. I listed the item in 2 categories, so I've been charged £1 for a listing which ought to have cost 10p. It has no watchers yet, so I suppose I could go and change it and add a postage charge so I won't end up paying more than I should in FVF too.
