Ok so sure I'm deluded, just need someone else to tell me.
Cash buyer, no mortgage req, must be house or bungalow, not flat, not shared ownership, retirement complex etc, just regular freehold.
Min 3 beds with garden, as much land as poss or close by.
Now here we go... WEST SUSSEX MAX £115k.
Tell me I'm living in cloud cuckoo land please.

    PS - can you absolutely not raise a mortgage? Even going up by £50k or so improves your options no end.

    Extend the area.

    Go and see every estate agent in the area.
    Give them exact requirements and see what they can do.

    Many of the EA round by me have 'must sell' lists that they are pushing. As well as auctions etc.

    Look, this is 2012, not 1965.

    The days of getting a detached bungalow with 300ft garden for tuppence and ha'penny are long gone. The oldies took all the land, together with the north sea oil and the nationalised industries. After all, their final salary pension schemes "needed" it. Now, anybody got a free bus pass, gym membership and TV licence I can borrow please?

    Not sure you'd even get a beach hut for that amount of money. Perhaps a mobile home though.
    The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

    I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
