Spray Lacquer

Hi All,

I'm going to be branding up a few clipboards with glossy stickers printed on an inkjet. To the end of making the result durable and waterproof, the paper suggests finishing the sticker with a clear acrylic spray lacquer. Ebay has loads of car lacquer for not much money, is that going to be the best stuff to use? I've tried with hairspray in the past, with less than satisfying results.

Thanks!

Car lacquer will be strong and most likely melt or at least compromise plastic etc. you'd be better off finding a lacquer or sealant from a craft supplier.
