No abuse from this corner - I prefer a man to be pubic free. :D

Well after reading this thread i decided to buy an epilator and i have used it with great success! I am now wonderfully smooth and soft and i will NEVER go back to shaving! :D

OMG, you are brave. I am in awe at your bravery

It has taken me years of using an epilator on my legs before even considering epilating my foof. Even now I have just done round the edges and don't think I could take the pain of ripping it all out (eye watering torture!). Having bloodied armpits after epilating them has left me a bit hesitant to boldly go down there with an epilator.

I just shave/pluck the sides and come in a little bit and then trim, to leave just a neat triangle at the top (I do more...the more I can be bothered! haha!)
I must say I have had such trouble my whole life since I've had fuzz there...nothing seems to really work and leave me smooth without red bumps!
Sometimes I'm like 'sorry' to my other half when I've not done it completely to my usual standard, but he's really good and says 'well it's not like I do anything 'down there' really is it?!' which is very understanding :) I'm not too fussed as to what guys do 'down there'

However!! I would love to try out going fuzz free at some point to see if I prefer that instead... :)

    The epilator for down below?
    Did it hurt?
Just the front bit? How low do you go?

I trim (a number 1 with a hair trimmer) then have the excess sides waxed to bald. But I'm curious about the bald look now:p

I like to be fuzz free as hairless feels cleaner, but never been brave enough to go completly fuzz free down below because of stubble worries:o I guss an epilator is a bit like a handy home waxing session without the hot wax or the expense or effort of going to the salon, just whip it out & do it little & often - I may be getting one:T
I had never been brave enough to go fuzz free before either(just kept it trimmed), but i shaved 'down there' with the shaver attachment first and then took it all off completely with the epilator. It was a bit nippy in the front inner part but i have done it again since as all hair grows at a different rate, and it seems to be MUCH easier after the first time. I also did two full legs and underarms the same evening and they have been much easier to do each time too. Before the first time i made sure to have a good soak in the bath first and a couple of glasses of wine and a painkiller. Im sure that helped! I feel so much sexier and cleaner now. I never thought i would like the hair free feel but i absolutely love it. Little and often is the key! Hth.

Was laughing at Sean Lock on the Comedy Gala last night talking about his wife going to get waxed, he said she shouldn't have a Brazilian because we're in Britain, she should have a 'full English' - he said they put hair ON for that one, it's like having a doormat between your legs! :rotfl:

I too, have read that funny yet informative review article on Amazon. I also use Veet hair removal cream on my unter-wagen but I use it stealthily... don't overdo it time-wise and a second coat usually does the trick...!
I hope I'm not hijacking the thread but I did see a few posts asking for a blokes opinion on this hair removing thing and I 'veet' mine every 6 weeks or so... slight irritation sometimes but nothing major and it feels great...! I have no idea why, it's just something I've done for years... pubes make me incredibly itchy and I'd rather spare myself the embarrassment of scratching all the time. I scratch in my sleep and the OH say's it's really annoying when the 'grass has grown'...! I am now standing ready to deflect any abuse that gets thrown my way...! Do your worst...!!

Its nice to hear a mans point of view on this subject. Ive never been brave enough to use veet down there... lol. Can i ask if you prefer 'MrsAndy' to be fuzz free or arent you bothered?
As for men i prefer a man with fuzz as i find it looks masculine.

    Lol thanks! :rotfl:
To be honest i hadnt planned to do it and i just went for it. Like i said before certain more tender areas where a bit nippy but it was ok if done in very short bursts. The only very slight bleeding i had was from the outer bikini area, weirdly enough:o

Go on and try it to see if you like it! Are you dark haired like me? I cant see myself ever growing my hair back..i cant believe how nice, sexy, smooth and clean it feels and ive had no ingrown hairs, but i must say that i have applied the veet anti ingrown hair cream. I will see what happens when i dont use it and post my findings

    LOL at this thread!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

I'm early 30s and just trim it with a pair of nail scissors. It looks fine imho and I've never had any complaints. :D

I'm naturally blonde and not that hairy, though. If I were dark with hair halfway down my leg I'd probably use more drastic measures!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: I'm dark haired and I use that leg hair for a nice comb over effect

phew so glad there is a thread i can ask on.

ok my hen weekend this weekend and a girly trip to Torquay is planned, the mention of indoor swimming pool has made me check the garden and decided it needed some weeding. And thought if i get it done on the Tuesday everything should of calmed down by the Friday.

now with the ms being a bummer atm, i decided to treat myself (treat!!) to a bikini wax in a beauty shop, last time i did that was about 15 years ago, she was so fast that most of the hair follicles bled.

this time a bit concerned, i am now bruised down along the knicker line on both sides. And the poor girl did a carp job, she said to me have a look, but couldn't get to see much of what she did, and i did only go for a little wax not the whole thing. She didn't get the side area's clear at all.

And what is this thing with having my leg up in the air, she was waxing my perineum, i told her what i wanted and why, so just a bit off the sides thank you.
