Was searching the web for vouchers and came across this one for 60% off Norton Antivirus, though it also works with Internet Security. I've just bought Norton Antivirus 12.0 for Mac Upgrade for only £10. :D

Promo code: Norton60VK

Enter the code at the checkout to get 60% off your purchase. Expires Sat 30th June 2012.

Tip: Use it on upgrade prices for an even better discount.

EDIT: Until tomorrow you can get Norton Internet Security 2012 for £14 when you use the code above in conjunction with Symantec's current 30% off promotion. Usual price £49.99.

Once the 30% promotion ends, if you use the promo code to buy the Upgrade version instead, which is priced at £39.99 for 3 PCs, you'll get it for £16. Cheaper than Amazon.

Apologies for shouting, I thought it was an offer worth shouting about! :D

Norton is MUCH better than it used to be, even it's strongest critics now praise it. It's the lightest AV suite around. Until tomorrow it's cheaper to buy it from Symantec.

Avast is far better than norton and best of all its free. I have never had so few viruses since ditching Norton.

I haven't had any with Norton either , but I use it because of OH work needs. I also use Avira on another pc of ours , but of course I use Linux more often than not

OH and Avast is not better than NIS it is a subjective comparison you are using i.e. in your opinion (or perhaps closed's too) yes it is free but so is Avira and (spits) AVG MSE etc etc Horses for courses stay away from Aintree you will fall before the canal turn;)

Edited: Oh and " I have never had so few viruses since ditching Norton" , you must visit some dodgy sites, even few is too many .....

it comes down to your useage aswell but after 12 months usage running something like malware and you can see a MASSIVE difference between norton and avast. Each to their own but I don't see the point in paying for an over priced software which isn't all that great when a better or at worst equivalent is available for free.

I don't understand what you mean? Until tomorrow its £14 from Symantec direct, when you use their 30% off offer and the voucher code.

After that its cheaper to get it from Amazon.

Another thing to note is that if you manage to get a copy of the 2010 or 2011 Norton Internet Security then it will "upgrade" to the latest software available. I always buy the previous years version as it is always cheaper and never from the upgrade link.

Norton is better than Avast. It is not too expensive if you shop around. I have never had a virus or noticed computer slow-down in the 4 years I've been using NIS.

Each to their own but avast is one of the better free ones so I have no need to waste money on NIS.
