Argos Card..

Hey all! I'm after a new TV, Argos have one I'm after for an alright price. They advertise their card with that kind of product for the 0%. Is it hard to get? I'm 19, credit history since 10/10 with 2 Cards and a phone contract. 1 recent search.

    Its fairly difficult to get.

I have one and I know someone who tried and tried to get one for years no debt home owner and they kept declining them.
Got mine only because I've lived at my same address for over 35 years and I own my house outright, no mortgage ever.
That's the only thing that pushed them to accept I think.

That a side if you do get it, you'll have a low limit, £150-£500 to start off.

Only use it for the interest free periods and make sure you pay it off in full by the end of the period!

Store cards IMO have their own clientele, its not something I have or would consider especially as currys, pc world, comet always have 0% offers if this is what your planning it for.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I had an Argos card a few years back, didn't have a problem getting it. I closed the account as I hardly ever used it though.
