I know they sell these sort of things at the actual swimming baths. Well they do at my nearest swimming baths, cause i had to go and get some goggles for my son.

Dont fret, after walking me legs off looking for goggles, someone had to point me in the right direction too.

Sports shops sell Adults and junior. Rubber about £2-3 silicon £5. The silicon are more comfortable, easier to put on and longer lasting.

Wash out after each swim. Apply talc before wearing as at first as they are tricky to get the hang of putting on and this stops them pucking the skin. To put on a child put both your hands (not the childs) inside like a praying position and pull apart. Get your child to hold the front of the hat on their forhead while holding up their ponytail (if they have one!) and you quickly pull the hat over the whole head. Believe me it is easier said than done but whatever you do don't try to start from the back!!!!!

Also for regular swimmers Speedo endurance bathers do last longer and are worth the extra couple of pounds. TK Max is good for picking them up in winter for as little as £3. Also M&M sports have regular sales where they are about £10. Sports shops most expensive usually at least £15 most £20+.

Finally get her a Turby Towel often available in poundland or Wilkinson (£2). These little head towels are great for keeping wet hair out of the way while they are dressing.

I saw some swim hats in Boots with the fitness equipment in the silly clearout they seem to be having, think they were a couple of quid.
