Supermarkets near Croyde Bay, Devon?

Hi there,

As I keep banging on about lol, we are off to Croyde Bay (Parkdean Ruda) next week - thinking all things MSE - and taking into account some of the horrendous things I have heard about the onsite takeaway at Ruda - I will probably do what I normally do, and head to a local supermarket to stock up before going to the park. I hate buying things at the campsite shop as they tend to be very dear in my experience

Anyone know of a local supermarket? Or could stop onroute, as coming down from the midlands I guess. Hmm

There's a Tescos on your left just as you come into Barnstaple on the North Devon link road.

There are probably supermarkets nearer to Croyde Bay but the Tesco above is on your route.

Theres also a tesco just as you come into Braunton. You need to turn left at the small roundabout opposite the garage.

There is a small tesco supermarket on the outskirts of braunton, the otherside of braunton to the croyde side. Turn right at the roundabout just before the petrol station when leaving braunton towards barnstaple. Theres a coop in the village abd a local independant cawthornes, for the last minute stuff.
