CC cleaner question

I have run CC cleaner now for several years and have the latest version. I tend to run the cleaner every time I shutdown.
I also use FF since 3 up to latest beta version.
1.)On previous iterations I noted that FF used to take some cleaning but on the latest iteration FF hardly seems to hold any data <1MB even after long tinternet sessions. Is these correct/reason?
2.))I also notice that it has always cleaned IE each time, that now seems to take a disproportionate amount of time as FF is so small, even though it isn't used, why?

Dammit! Lost all the stuff I typed in, must have hit the wrong key combo! I'll have another go.
FYI:- Since upgrading to FF 12 and CC 3.18 Ccleaner cleans Firefox much quicker - it used to "hang" for 4 or 5 minutes now just a few seconds. Can't pin down which one did the trick.
- After an hour or so browsing I get the Firefox cache under Firefox>tools>options>advanced>network to be about 55MB. So your 1MB sounds suspiciously low.
- Override cache management is unchecked
- I don't use IE at all, but it still takes a few seconds to clear the cache in Ccleaner.
