Our back garden currently has a top patio area which is block paved, then goes down to a flat surface which is flagged, with not so nice flags, and to be honest i'm fed up of them.
We thought of taking them up and turfing the area, as it was before, but someone mentioned artificial grass to us, we've been to b and q and saw this

I've read up about how to lay it, but i just wondered if anyone has any experinece of it.
thanks.

We've just laid it in our garden, it looks the business. However the really good (looking) stuff isnt cheap. We paid £22 per sq m, and could have easily spent more. The cheaper stuff is flat and scratchy (think market fruit stalls), the more pricey stuff has different strand lengths, mixed colours, and is far softer underfoot.
If you are going to go down this route, I would do your research. We got our grass from here:

who will send you out samples.
With the laying it, its quite hard work. We were laying it over an area that had previously been decked, and we probably spent the same on materials (type 1, sand, whacker plate) as what we spent on the grass.
