Owners Direct - France Recommendation?

Can anyone recommend any of the Owners Direct properties/locations in the South of France? Aquitaine or Dordogne preferably.

I am thinking of booking for this summer.

Any recommendations appreciated - or which can be booked direct with the owner rather than with Owners Direct.

We want somewhere near a good beach.

Hello,

Just a word of warning on Owners Direct. We have just been duped out of £1520 for a villa in Spain that does not exist. I have booked holidays on 3 occasions historically with no problems until now. Their security screening is simply not up to the job, as this guy managed to post a villa that he did not own. I am negotiating with OD parent company for part compensation, but it has been two months to date with nothing. I paid (as i always have) with a bank transfer (as most of the owners do not have credit card facilities). If you cannot pay with a credit card, i would advise you not to bother. Personally, i would put a tent up in the garden before i used OD again.
