That's an odd thing to have to do as part of your job! I'd get bored and just start googling everyone I knew.
Haven't had the smoothie mentioned in the first post so can't comment on if it's watery, always steered clear of that one because it sounds like it'd be rather acidic!0 -
Morrisons is also having the kids smoothies at half price.
Just bought a carton.0 -
Asda have the adult version reduced to £2 at the moment
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

just had some innocent smoothie (pineapple, bananas and coconuts) and I felt that it was definitely more dilute than last time. Wonder if they have changed anything.
It wasnt the kids stuff by the way. I know its more dilute
Its very possible that a number of factors might result in a watery taste.
For example strawberries
Weather
The poor weather in Spain rainy mornings and limited sun in the afteroon will result in the Strawberries not ripening quick enough, low brix levels (this is the amount of sugar) resulting in poor watery taste.
There's very little that can be done to solve this problem except good weather in Spain. I sure the same problem may exist in other fruits.
Seasonality
The start/end of the season there will be poor quality fruit available then in the peak middle part of the season. Supplier will take a view to use the fruit or go without.
Variety
New varieties are available all the time. Some look excellent, have fantasic shelf life but taste poor. Other look good, average shelf life but taste Fantastic. Always buy Spanish Sabrosa!!
There more reasons and I could go on all nite, but I dont want to bore you,
