Heheh :rotfl: :rotfl:
The reasons I drink so much are firstly because I use them to replace my raw fresh fruit intake and I go to the gym a lot and therefore need to drink a lot of fluids anyway. Although sometimes they are so thick that you don't feel less thirsty after drinking them and need water to wash them down with. (Probably means more time in the toilet!)
As far as being able to afford them; they are frequently on offer at one supermarket or another, and when I see them i buy a whole shelf full! (I have an american fridge, heh) It is still a lot of money though but I think it is worth it when it keeps you really healthy, and hopefully makes you live a bit longer..
I once emailed innocent with some comments about their drinks and they sent me about £10 in vouchers. Thanks innocent!
Has anyone else noticed how awkward the 1L cartons are when opening? You need so much force to open that plastic ringpull that when it comes off, it often results in some splashback. This is especially a nuisance with the darker berry flavours since they are thick and can stick tyo the underside of the ringpull.0 -

Fizziness is definitely a sign that the fruits have started to ferment. I don't know if its actually bad for you or not but I would return it to the supermarket since they cost £2-3 per carton. I guess it could be caused by the carton not being refrigerated for some time somewhere between the factory and your basket?0 -
Thinking about it now, why don't we start a thread somewhere saying where there is currently an offer for Innocent smoothies?0

we had the kids ones that were half price in asda and they were as thick as the standard ones although the shape make it difficult to get all the smoothie out.

I read in a paper not so long ago (The Times probably) that our ancestors used to eat a lot more fermented fruit and it helped with either digestion or the immune system, can't remember which.0 -

Hmmmm ... YES ... in fact I am sitting here in a pale blue shirt with some pale pink stains around the gut area as a result of opening this mornings smoothie
Perhaps I should send Dan my laundry bills :rotfl:0
