a week on the broads, where to go and what to do?

Have decided to spend a little of the hard earned and splashed out for a week on the broads, 12th May for a week. We have been on a couple of times but always with other people and regularly holiday in Yarmouth and visit places by train so we know the touristy spots, but this time it will be just a old married couple in their early 50's. We are hiring from Wroxham so will be heading up towards Stalham on the Sunday then down through Breydon water Monday afternoon spending 3 days on the south broads before heading back toward Horning for Fri night. Dont know what the weather will be tho the outlook not to good but luckily the boat dual steer and we are outdoor people lol.

Do you know of anywhere we should visit and can you recommend any eating places that are affordable, dont do fancy resteraunts lol. Also looking for somewhere special around Horning to Wroxham for the Friday night as that will be our 22nd wedding anniversary.
