Has anyone used the above company to buy their property for cash or a similar company? Can u give me any advice - negative or positive about using this type of company for a quick sale?

They will pay you around 20% less than your property is actually worth!
You would fetch a better price if you put your house on with a regular estate agent at "offers over" a stupidly low asking price (something like this sort of company would offer you!). You are virtually guaranteed plenty of viewings, preferably arranged in blocks to promote competition. You should have plenty of offers to choose from and could hopefully take it to 'best and final offers'
A company like this should only be the very, very last resort for someone.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

if you have to go with a "quick sale" type of company - AQS is the most honourable in the market place - there are dozens of other shark companies.
You will have a guaranteed quick sale (someimes can be done in days) and they pay your legal fees. Sometimes they can do rent-backs depending on the figures. Each client gets a tailor made solution. Worth a phone call in my opinion.0 -
Yeah in my opinion you have to be really careful whom you trust. You can find lots of companies out there who seem a little dodgy if you ask me.
Through experience with a cousin of mine who used Capital Investments (cigb.co.uk) I know that they were professional. They gave him a quick and private sale and even offered him an option to stay in his home as a tenant if he wished.
Anyways, I would say just be careful who you go to - my cousin definetley did his homework before going to a company like this. I was very sceptical at first, maybe still am a little, but he seemed to get a real good deal and he recommends them to me! (although I don't really need to sell up as yet)0 -
Thank you for your replies. I spoke to someone from Quicksale to get some information. They seemed quite professional and explained everything to me and advised that they would get back within a day to let me know what figure they were looking at to offer. 5 days later i had heard nothing. i chased them. i was given a rough figure but advised that he would need to speak to his boss to see if they could rejig the figures. He said he would send report in the meantime by email....im still waiting 2 weeks on!!! so dont think i'll be bothering!! Ive changed estate agents now but there doesnt seem to be much going on in my area.0

...or advertising privately ?
It's not rocket science, despite what agents would have you believe. :cool:0
