shower pressure and shower kits question

How do I tell what my shower pressure is?
I have a combi boiler so does that mean the gauge on the boiler shows my water pressure (usually 1.5)? Or is there another way to tell what my shower pressure is?
I need to change the shower hose and head and sliding showerhead holder. Can i just buy a shower kit (once I've measured all the diameters of course)? And if I buy a kit specially for low pressure showers will it increase my shower pressure?
Additional info: I live in a flat, on the third floor. Thameswater provides the water. I believe I have pretty decent tap water flow.
Please and thank you!

Your shower is / will be at or just below mains pressure. To find out exactly what it is stick a water pressure guage on your washing machine tap.ricewasher wrote: »How do I tell what my shower pressure is?
No the CH ius sealed pressurised. The pressure on that guage has nothing whatesoever to do wth the pressure of your domnestic hot / cold water.I have a combi boiler so does that mean the gauge on the boiler shows my water pressure (usually 1.5)?
Hose and riser rails are all standard fittings. The only thing you have to worry about is the centres for the rail brackets.I need to change the shower hose and head and sliding showerhead holder. Can i just buy a shower kit (once I've measured all the diameters of course)?
No the pressure is the pressure whatever it is. It might change the flow rate though. And if I buy a kit specially for low pressure showers will it increase my shower pressure?
If you have a combi as you say everything is at mains anyway.Additional info: I live in a flat, on the third floor. Thameswater provides the water. I believe I have pretty decent tap water flow.

^ Thanks alot. That's amazing! The water pressure gauges are somewhat pricey though. I might just change the shower head with something similar and see what happens.0
