Passport URGENT help

Hey, need some urgent help!!!!

I arrived in calgary, Canada, 2days ago from the uk. My holiday ends next weekend when i fly back to the Uk. I just discovered (when unpacking my things), that a small amount of water has gotten into contact with my passport!!!.

The page with my photo and details on seems fine, but the blank page opposite has some water marks on it. This is something that is most likely noticable. will I still be able to fly back to the Uk??? If not.. what do i do?? Feeling extremely stressed out n panicked! :(

I only have till next weekend to get something sorted... Not a clue what to do!!! :( I dont want to be turned away from the airport with nowhere to stay n not a clue what to do :( Managing to get internet on my phone (just).

Help needed :(

I wouldn't let it worry me, if the water has made the passport look a bit "dodgy" (as if it's a fake) they will just call and check the details... forget about it and enjoy your holiday.

It is the page with the photo and details on that is the important one, but it may be worth a call to the airline just for your own peace of mind.

Dont worry about it, they are not going to keep you in canada, if you were trying to enter it may be slightly different

I travelled in and out of the US several times with a coffee spill right across that page-especially as you are leaving the country to go home it won't be an issue. Relax and enjoy the rest of your trip.

They may advise you to replace your passport when you get back to the UK
Just as well it not one of the newest biometric passports - the photo fades and turns green when in contact with liquid.

Thanks everyone. i spoke to air transat who said (at least on the phone...) that it would probably be ok provided my travel documentation still has my photo n details present.

Spoke to the british consulate too who said (not 100 percent without seeing it) that as im a uk citizen travelling directly back to the uk shed imagine itd be ok (no problems on uk side at least)... But it was at the discretion of the airline.

Fingers crossed there will be no problems... Still cant shake the anxiety which is a shame. basically if there are problems id somehow need to do a 15 hour bus journey to vancouver + cabs to get an emergency travel doc (in person), travel back, pay for hotels and living + new flights... (v expensive it seems). Pretty scary considering ill have no money n no way to any for any of that n nowhere to stay... :( not entirely sure what im supposed to do then... plus id be away from work for a week i dont have... hmmmm. stressful times.
