Anyone using Outlook 2007?

I have recently installed Excel and Word 2007 and am slightly bemused at how vastly different in appearance they are from the 2003 versions, which I have not uninstalled.

You are only allowed to have one installation of Outlook at once so I have not installed Outlook 2007 as yet, and I wondered if anyone has any comments please? Does it still retain the appearance of Outlook 2003? I am perfectly happy with Outlook 2003 but don't want to miss out on any essential new features that the new version may contain.

And can I assume there are no issues when running Outlook 2007 in conjunction with Exchange Server 2003 standard edition? Thanks folks.

Well if you are happy with 2003 then there isn't anything essential about upgrading ;)

I have a play with the beta release, it looks just as different as winword 2003 and 2007 do. I personal would suggest dumping outlook, but mainly because i dislike it.

If you do, thunderbird is a great alternative, doesn't try to use up all your memory, faster to load, and you can get your emails back if the software crashes.
