Mum's credit card on my report. Employer credit check!

Hi,
I have just checked my equifax credit report because I knew I would be subject to a credit check by a potential employer. However, I have found that my mum has a Natwest credit card ,with a balance of around £4300, showing up on my account and she has just had a late payment on it (Jan)
I also have 2 credit checks under my name account one in July last year for a credit card that I took out and one less than a month later which I believe relates to my mums credit card above (the dates match and it shows up on her Noddle/Experian) Do credit checks in quick succession like that look bad?
I know why this has happened, I applied for the Natwest card online for my mum as she can't use a computer and wanted help, I must have put my birthday in by mistake. In fact, when my mum tried to call up to access her account and pay on time in January she couldn't speak to anyone about it because they said her birthday was wrong! After checking my report it's actually my birthday that is on the account.
I know I made a mistake here and I'm going to try and fix it, I have informed Equifax. But will this look bad to the potential employer? The only blemish on my report is a late payment in 2008 and the fact I'm using most of my available credit.
I'm really worried as I need this job really badly.

they are more bothered about ccjs and defaultsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Thanks for replying, theres definitely no way it would look fraudish? Is it bad for my credit report generally though? I hope it's not too difficult to sort out.
Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. I'm trying to get up to speed and get a good understanding of all this finance stuff, I've spent hours on here the past few days:j0 -

I can't believe that the CC appears against you just because it happens to have your birthdate down for your mum, it must have your name against it as well.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
Is the CC in your name with your Mum as an additional card holder ? Putting in the wrong date of birth wouldn't make it show up on your Credit Report, you must have applied in your name ?0

Exactly. You must of opened it on your name. How on earth would a CC company link your date of birth to your name without you telling them your name?0 -
I had this a few years ago when living with parents - their credit showed up on my file - same surname and address - had to file a notice of disassociation..Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0

no it's not in my name. But we live at the same address. I was in a bit of a panic when I post the OP and after checking it seems my mums credit card is has a disclaimer above it saying that it may or may not be mine and whoever is searching should verify.0
