Thanks keystone. I have a Worcester-Bosch combi and have been advised that this is sufficient for a mains shower, but you are right, there's no point in having copious amounts of like-warm water. :-)
Hi: which model WB combi do you have?

Hi Canuckhead,
I have WB Cdi35. Its just myself in a semi with 2.5 bedrooms, so the output has been good. I'm just looking forward to moving away from my electric shower.)

I an also in the aqualisa camp...
Wondering what the pros think about Triton as a "mid range" make as this is what a bathroom specialist recommended to me to keep costs down.0 -
Expect the WB to generate around 12 - 12½ litres per minute (don't take much notice of the claimed spec) at 35 degrees rise. Whats the flow rate through the suggested showerhead?

Hi: shouldn't be a problem then with a 35 kW combi....good flow rate.
We've been recommending the Midas Plus to customers as well.

I fitted an Aqualisa Quartz Electric 8.5Kw a couple of years ago, fitted directly to the cold supply, it has minimal control settings and for me, retired pensioner, a dream of a shower, and at around £125 you just cant go wrong.
Just my findings and my own opinion.

Hmm a camp Aqualisa, an interesting concept if nothing else!
Sorry peeps but for flow rates it's Mira for me as they've taken the flow rate mantle. Aqualisa digital shower flow rates are down 25% with current models and when you're in the shower you need water!
Triton or any electric simply can't cut it. I CBA to run around to get wet! Please don't make me explain what CBA is! All together now, "Always look on the bright side of life..." :whistle:0 -
Interesting - Care to recommend a decent Mira shower and valve to connect to a pump?0
