theres a weatherspoons in perranporth that does some offers, theres the railway in st agnes that does curry and a pint for £8 on a tuesday and pie and a pint for £8 on a thursday (not sure about this week) theres the pub at mithian and the meadery in st agnes - good value but basic. cornish pasty from st agnes bakery of Philps in Hayle (near gwithian sands)0

I don't know that part of Cornwall. I would be inclined to look on the websites for Brewers Fayre and Table Table and see what they have to offer. We stayed on a campsite near Hayle the other summer and there was a Brewers Fayre about 10 mins drive away from where we were staying. Wetherspoons is also a good bet - Do you know yet where in Cornwall you are going to be each day? I would be inclined to see what Wetherspoons are near to where you plan to visit.
From my experience of only holidaying in the UK in recent years (Lake District and Cornwall), I find the local pubs ok but rarely have I seen offers of buy one get one free on meals or free kids meals. I also find the drinks VERY EXPENSIVE! (soft drinks in particular) so another reason to hunt out the wetherspoons. You will also no doubt come across many a pasty shop.
Eden Project also has a few options for food so that might solve that day's meals. The food looked very tempting when we visited last time.0 -
if you're thinking of going to Newquay at all I can help you out with a few local places.
First there's Bank St https://www.facebook.com/bankstnewquay?ref=ts which on a wed night does 241 burgers, they're suposed to be very good but you must book and they do 2 sittings and apparently the first one can be quite rushed. They also do a 241 grill night on thurs.
Next, Belushis https://www.facebook.com/belushis.newquay?ref=ts, here if you ask at the bbar you should be able to buy a discount card for £2 that will give you 25% off food and 10% off drinks.
Walkabout Newquay, here you can buy a boomerang card for £3 I think for a discount on food and drinks.
Those are all I can think of at the moment, of course it depends on whether yyou were going to come to Newquay or not and what sort of places you like. I would say Bank St has the best food but no view. Belushis has a great panoramic view and s a very laid back, surfey style place.
Walkabout is an Australian style sports bar so if you want to watch football that's your place.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.Started Comping 25th September 2013.
October wins :j : Chapstick Goodie Bag, Mixed Case of Kumala Wine, £10 Two Seasons Gift Voucher, Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate bar, Schwarzkopf Colour Mask, Eco Soap Sample Bundle.

Just been in Cornwall for a week and there are a few places that accept the Taste Card (2 for 1 or 50% off food bills).
You can get a months free trial.
