Veliac Three electric tricycle query

having lost (through no fault of my own) my job, I am faced with the difficulties and cost of public transport to get about. Does anyone have any experience of this type of transport, or two wheeled electric bikes?
It looks a large investment, but if it allows me years of transport - the next village is a £5.00 bus trip alone, and getting around town a nightmare, it would be worthwhile.
Any experiences gratefully received - and perhaps a subject of interest in the e-mail for a review into the economics of these items?
Thank you all so much for any help.

I've got a Kalkoff electric bike, expensive, (ther are cheeper ones) but its excellent. Takes the pain out of hils and head winds. I would advice getting one with the on/off for battery assist on the handle bars so its not on if you don't need it so you get longer battery life.
The bikes tend to be heavier than normal bikes.
Lots of info on this site.

I would have considered an electric bike but seemed to have too many legal restrictions on them.
I bought a petrol scooter instead. Brilliant for city traffic, Except you do need to watch out for the idiots who dont look where they are going.
Steel toecap boots help them notice you

What legal restrictions did you find that put you off ?
I've looked into getting an electric bike and it seems the restrictions are very few ...... no licence required; no Mot; no Road tax; optional insurance get it if you want but not a legal requirement.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

What has that got to do with a bike ?
Looking at your name it seems it may be your own business you're trying to promote.

When i looked because i wanted to use some dual carriageways with a dectn speed the power output would be too high. Classed as a proper motor vehicle when i looked.
