Aldi water heater

This morning I noticed that they were selling some kind of kettle which boasted hot water in 3 seconds. It resembled some form of water dispenser rather than a kettle. I recall that it was 2.2kw and claimed to use 20% less leccy than a normal kettle.
Some time ago I recall another product which boasted super fast boiling capabilities but some kind of filter was required which needed occasinally replacing.
The model number was ADWT followed by 4 numerals which on my 20 mile journey back home escaped from my short term memory. The assistant in the store was busy on the till at the time so I had no success in querying him.
A google on ADWT has provided no success and a look on the previous weeks offers on the ALDI site has not yielded any info.
What I really wanted to know is does it have to be permanentl switched on (which I imagine it does) to achieve its claims and is it any good ?
Anticipatory thanks.

Is it a instant water heater like the type used in offices which are left plugged in but only draw when temp drops or water is pulled?0

You could ask their customer services

If it is this type, it isn't left switched on

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Thanks to everyone, yes that is the one. The offers on tha Aldi website only went back to the 29th of April and I see that this came on offer on the 25th, no wonder I couldn't find it.
Thanks for the info about 70 degrees, it would probably be O.K. for coffee but I do like a HOT and STRONG cup of tea where the teabag has infused for at least a couple of minutes so I think I'll give it a miss.0 -
Also they can be VERY noisy!
They work by Induction heating (like those glass top stoves that need magnetic based pans to work)
I was also thinking about picking one up.
I usually stick my tea bag in one of those insulated travel mugs to let it infuse before poring it into my normal cup...
I use one of those big "soup bowl" sized mugs ^_^ (I love a big coffee hit, but things cool down in seconds in that thing! lol)Laters
