    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all

Hope everyone is good and the weather is getting sunnier!

This weekend I have or will:

    - check banking and make PADs
    - be delighted at my progress on the mortgage front. Very happy with the sig but there is more than can be done so I need to work on that more
    - update spends spreadsheets
    - lady who bought an item on EBAy lives 3 streets away so OH taking it round....very happy also as we got a 50% increase on what we paid for it albeit 10 years ago!
    - try and go to garden centre but be careful wth spends, need to be for the allotment
    - try out BM which has been letting us down with yeast that is in date!!! I don't like to throw anything away but if it's the reason that bread doesn't rise ( and not a mechanical malfunction:rotfl:) it will have to go and its far cheaper than a new BM!
    - make roast dinner from stores but will be buying more eggs and cream to make rhubarb icecream. Hens laying a bit again not the 2 broodies:mad: but the other 2 but still can't see me using 6 of theirs. Better to buy.

    Think that's it.

    Have a good day everyone:D

Poor you Little Pink with your hours. How extremely annoying that must be.

    Today I have so far:

    • Harvested some purple sprouting broccoli from the veg patch
    • Went on online banking and twiddled with my standing orders to make better savings for yearly bills
    • Printed off a recipe for chicken kebabs that I saw on yesterdays Saturday Cookbook.
    • Looked over the month ahead and organised how much money I will need each week.

    Hi everyone

We've been making money in our house today - set each other a target to make £100 each. OH is going to blow me out the water if he can find a buyer for his guitar but I'm willing to put my competitive streak to one side ;)

So far we've made £46.90: £5.60 in 2 euromillions tickets we never cashed the winnings on, £15 in coins I bagged up, £3 transferred from paypal from a survey, £23.30 on a winning footie bet (used money that was already in OH's online balance ;)).

    Still got to:
    - music magpie CDs
    - Sell DS
    - Sell PSP
    - Sell games for DS and PSP
    - Sell old mobile phones
    - Figure out what's the best thing to do with foreign currency - USD50 and EUR10 - every little helps and all that :rotfl: - about £35 I guess.

Need to see if I can get cash for a couple of gift vouchers too :o - Have £25 D*benhams and £30 for a local spa...

Looking forward to the bank holiday tomorrow, although I'll just be working through my laundry basket and chilling out at home.

    xxxx

Not the best LPP - are you thinking you'll be able to get a part-time job or something similar to make the extra up? Hope so, I know what it's like when you suddenly lose money you count on. Big hugs.
